The Drag Barge is 110’x34’x10’. The Drag is a 35’ wide 3’ tall and 11’ long and weighs 18 tons. The Drag looks like a giant box blade and it is controlled from the wheel house of one of Biblia’s Tugs using an electric winch powered by a generator on the barge.
One of Biblia’s 1,500 BHP model bow tugs, complete with Biblia’s experienced crewmen, will be used to push the drag barge. We have provided services for The Dutra Group and Great Lakes Dredge and Dock. We have also performed agitation dredging for customers in Savannah for over 20 years. We have performed bed-leveling in and around the Delaware Bay, Charleston Harbor, Fernandina/St. Mary’s River and Jacksonville/St. John’s River and we are able to travel to any such project you may have.
